Lewis recently printed out an article about L-2-Hydroxyglutaric Aciduria - Staffordshire Bull Terrier for us to read and as this is such a popular breed in our practice we thought we should share with you. Before purchasing a Staffy you really should read this.

This is a neurometabolic disorder that produces a variety of clinical neurological deficits and sadly has no cure.

Symptoms of this disease include: Seizures, Wobbly walking, dementia and tremors in the back legs. These symptons can start as early as birth however 6- 12 months old is more common.
